I'm working closely with a leading insurer in the bulk annuity space as they are looking to recruit an actuarial analyst to join their reinsurance team.

This is a superb opportunity for a candidate from a pensions background, with thorough knowledge of the DB market, including DB valuations and calculations, to transition over to life insurance.

In this team, you will be providing calculations in relation to the post bulk annuity sales, as well as being involved in reinsurance arrangements. This is would be a fantastic opportunity to capitalise on your prior DB pensions knowledge and help move your career into the life market.

• This role would suit a student actuary with a minimum of 18 months UK experience and a minimum of 4 exam passes.
• If learning how to code in C# is of interest, you will have exposure to this, however this is not a requirement.

Full study support will be given, along with the opportunity to rotate around the wider life insurance business. Further rotations could be in the pricing, reporting, capital, investments, longevity or modelling teams to name a few.
