On behalf of our client an established financial services firm going through a large transformative project, Oliver James is currently recruiting for a Deputy MLRO.
Why should I apply?
This is a newly created position reporting into the head of the function. The successful candidate will be sitting on the SLOD and overseeing the AML and CFT obligations for the business. This is a fast-growing and dynamic function and our client is going through a large growth and transformative phase and introducing new products onto the market.
The role:
- The successful candidate will support the MLRO in managing the relationship between the CBI.
- Liaising with senior stakeholders and advise on AML/CFT procedures been to be implemented/updated.
- Reviewing and updating Policies on a regular basis.
- Working alongside the MLRO on annual reports and suspicious transactions.
Is it for me?
The successful candidate will have an extensive understanding of AML/CTF and ideally be coming from an MLRO or Deputy MLRO background. The candidate should also be able to work well of their own initiative but also a team player and a strong eye for detail.
