Reporting to the IFRS 17 Programme Manager this role will support the workstream in ensuring financial control expertise is applied.
The role will contribute to the Operational Readiness work stream activities, integrating with the other work streams and BAU functions resulting in a complete delivery of the IFRS 17 group reporting capability.
You will focus on the finance resource requirements to produce quarterly group consolidated financials. You will assist where required in the process and control documentation and ensure the process and control design is complete to enable effective completion of the quarterly reporting outputs.
You will be working with the Finance systems team to design and deliver the required chart of accounts both for the IFRS 17 financial statements and to ensure consistency/reconciliation to the entity level financial statements under local GAAP.
To be considered for this position you must be a Qualified Accountant with substantial Project / Business Analyst experience, preferably within the insurance industry. Previous experience working on an implementation project is also hugely desired.
