A leading global insurer is looking for an IFRS 17 Lead for their ASIA business.

The IFRS 17 Project Lead is responsible to lead the Asia business finance workstreams in the end-to-end implementation of the new insurance accounting standards, IFRS 17, for Asia Business units and ensure the delivery of project tasks at a quality and timely manner.

The incumbent will be the point of contact for the workstream, working with Division on project's business case / requirement / gap analysis, communicating Asia Business unit requirements, provide regular project updates, raise issues (if foreseen) and ensure timely coordination with project teams for proper resolution

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 10 years' experience in financial operations and reporting of insurance companies
• Good understanding of the IFRS 17 and IFRS reporting
