6 month contract with the possibility of extension based on workload and performance. Candidate will be remote while offices are closed, but if/when offices are open they will need to be onsite on Boston a few days a week (not 5). When they are remote they need to be in EST timezone and preferably Boston. They would take someone remote that has Core Dimension experience.

This current team is the Back Office for LM Investments. This team is currently going through a large implementation of their accounting software upgrade and their current PO will be dedicated to this project. Looking to bring in PO that can cover the other projects.

Candidate must have a Finance/Investments background. At a minimum they need to have worked in Finance industry interfacing with Accountants/Finance users. Candidate must have strong background in Jira and be able to write user stories in Jira. Strong Agile background and experience working through backlogs.

About this job:
* Works with the Product Management and Sr. Product Owner to articulate and translate the product vision into feature(s) for Back and Middle Office Platforms including accounting, forecasting, and compliance. Communicate the product strategy effectively to key stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
* Defines minimum viable product (MVP) for products/features in scope. Owns scrum team backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement). Helps key stakeholders to better understand the product vision.
* Works day-to-day with Sr. Product Owner and the scrum teams clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, constantly communicating and gaining alignment around feature or product strategy.
* Ensures delivery of scope, partners with delivery teams to ensure user stories are clear, and aligns resources to remove barriers for team members and resolves open issues/questions quickly and efficiently. Acts as the voice of the customer.
* Sets the quality standard for delivery. Develops test plans (user story acceptance criteria), accepts each story and potentially features and participates in team demos and retrospectives to validate quality, provide feedback to team and improve team processes. Partners across functions as needed to coordinate delivery plans, testing, training and support.
