A leading global insurer are looking to expand their Legal and Wordings team in London with a Senior Legal Counsel.
This will be a 12 month FTC and will get involved with international projects for the Group on various different business lines and multi-discipline teams.
The key responsibilities for the Senior Legal Counsel will include
- Being a trusted legal advisor to the Underwriters
- Provide wordings and legal advice to the underwriting business
- Provide legal advice around policy documentation and make sure that policy wordings are updated from a legal standpoint
- Review broker produced and bespoke policy wordings
- Draft documentation in compliance with law and regulation
Key skills will include
- Qualified Lawyer
- Worked within insurance either in house or private practice
- Drafting and wordings experience
