Looking for a solution architect who wants to take ownership and accountability in building out front end systems and help enable optimisation of their cloud platform (Preferably Azure).
In 2016, this organisation began a process to replace its policy administration platform with a modern, market-leading java-based platform. This replacement and migration programme will complete in 2021. The company is now planning a significant additional investment in its frontend systems, and is about to launch a new digitisation and technology modernisation Programme which is expected to run for 3 to 5 years. The new Programme will include Online and B2B systems development, moving to a cloud-first approach where possible, and with a target of microservices running in containers, and REST-based services bridging to existing SOAP-based services. The work will be a mix of Agile and Waterfall approaches, with a strong preference to adopt a sustainable DevOps culture which will persist following the Programme implementation.
Key work will involve:
- Building new and updating online websites,
- Building new B2B services,
- Exposing APIs,
- Integrating to backend system, data transformations and aggregations,
- Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, Master Data Management,
- QA and Test Management.
