We are seeking an experienced Dispute Lawyer with 7-12 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our legal team in the technology client of ours. As a Dispute Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling and resolving legal disputes that arise within their platforms. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external legal parties to protect the company's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and resolving legal disputes related to technology, digital entertainment and online gaming industry, including but not limited to consumer complaints, intellectual property disputes, contractual disputes, and regulatory issues
- Handle all stages of litigation and providing timely legal advice to internal stakeholders
- Explore and implement alternative methods of dispute resolution
- Review and analyse contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports, legal opinions, and other relevant documentation to support decision-making processes and maintain proper records
Qualifications:
- Singapore qualified lawyer preferred, however, common law bar will be considered
- At least 7 PQE in disputes or commercial litigation
- Experience within online gaming/ digital entertainment industry is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and great time management
- Proactive and interested in such industry
