Oliver James is partnering with the largest British Insurance firms who in the last 3 years have been the most successful Insurance firms globally. They are in need of a Project Manager who will manage all the Gen AI/Chat GPT/LLM projects at a group level reporting to the Chief AI Technology Officer.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  4. Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans as needed.
  5. Coordinate and communicate with project team members and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  6. Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that project deliverables are achieved.
  7. Manage project resources, including assigning tasks and providing direction and support to team members.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  9. Collaborate with IT leadership to align project goals with overall IT strategy and objectives.
  10. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT project management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  2. PMP certification preferred.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  4. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  6. Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
  7. Solid understanding of IT systems and applications, as well as infrastructure and security requirements.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
